The assignment I received as part of my studies in the Image Making course.
I was asked to create an image of a lifeguard hut that raises a problem that bothers me.
Houston, we got A problem!
During wintertime, massive amounts of rainwater are failing to be absorbed into the soil.
Surface runoff is an "outstanding" phenomenon, that has always been damaging beaches, seas & wildlife.
Debris, oils, soot, chemicals, and many more, are been washed into the beaches and seas.
A destructive path of water, unfortunately, Rain is the agent.

My work
I chose to illustrate a sarcastic scene about the state of the sea during the winter and paint the entire lifeguard hut in black as a sign of mourning for the sea.
